Are You Getting Everything You Could From Your Exhibition Stand?
You’ve booked your space, now what’s next?
You've booked the space. You've briefed the build. You know what the stand looks like and roughly how the day is going to run. Job done, right?
Not quite.
In our experience, the difference between a good exhibition presence and a great one often comes down to the details that get decided — or not decided — in the final weeks before a show. The additions that feel like extras but actually do a lot of the heavy lifting on the day.
Here are a few worth thinking about before your next event.
Touchscreen monitors
Static displays tell people what you want them to know. Touchscreens let them find it themselves — at their own pace, in the order that matters to them. For product-heavy brands or businesses with a complex offer, the difference in engagement is significant. They're also a natural conversation starter, which on a busy exhibition floor is never a bad thing.
Meeting areas
A stand without somewhere to sit is a stand that keeps conversations short. A dedicated meeting area — even a compact one — signals that you're there to do business, not just be seen. It gives your team somewhere to take a prospect out of the flow of foot traffic and actually talk.
Product display moments
How your product sits on the stand matters more than most people realise. A custom display plinth, a dedicated housing, the right lighting — these things shift perception. They're the difference between a product that's present and a product that's showcased.
Branded storage
Nobody wants to see boxes of giveaways stacked behind a counter. Integrated storage keeps the stand looking the way it was designed to look, all day, without your team having to manage it constantly.
LED and lighting upgrades
Lighting changes everything. The right integrated LED work can define zones, draw the eye, create atmosphere and — as we've done for clients — actually tell a story about how a product works. It's one of the highest-impact additions relative to its footprint.
The good news is that most of these don't require a rethink of your stand. They layer onto what's already there. And if we're already delivering your build, adding them in is straightforward.
If you've got a show coming up and want a second pair of eyes on what you're working with, we're happy to take a look. Sometimes the best upgrades are the ones you hadn't thought to ask about. Need to suss us out first? View our case studies below.
